I have wet sanded my Jeep and got it ready for paint but the guy who knows how to do it and was going to help me got pulled away on a job for at least 2 months. How can I keep my Jeep still ready to paint while he is gone? Is there anything I can do to keep it ready for when he gets back?

It wouldn't take long to do a quick wipe down, and scuff it up again when he gets back and is able to do it.
Don't go too fine on the sandpaper, the paint needs a bit of a tooth to stick.

Can you leave it sit until he gets back or will it be driven?
The other guys seem to have the right answer but if it needs driven just make sure any bare metal gets at least some primer on it. The whole Jeep will need another hit with the sandpaper eventually.
