What 3" lift shocks and springs should I install on my TJ?

another WTF post.....why?
To confuse people like you that don't understand simple things. Would you like me to "Mansplain" it to you and type slower?

p.s. In case that confused you too.
  1. Mansplaining

Mansplaining is a pejorative term meaning "to comment on or explain something to a woman in a condescending, overconfident, and often inaccurate or oversimplified manner".

The 55241s are probably a better fit for what you have. I really only needed the longer 256s once I started rotating the pinion up and the spring perches down, plus my springs are a bit longer. Since it sounds like you already have the springs on the Jeep, measure the existing shocks and see which you need. Body lift is irrelevant to shock length, but may allow for more usable travel.

Awesome, I have the 55241's in my Amazon cart!!!!

Funny it comes out cheaper buying them as a pair and then the fronts separately then buying all 4 off Amazon.
The price for all 4 is $239.50
The rear pair is $108 and buying the fronts as singles is 53.42. That comes out to roughly $214..got to love Amazon sometimes.
Thank you for your help. The fun part will be installing them one of the rear shocks the previous owner welded it to the upper mount.

I have Teraflex coils and Rancho shocks, both widely available, neither will break the bank and the ride is smooth as per your purposes and request. The coils are all available on Amazon, I see though they've gone up $45 per axle since I bought them a few years ago, not bad all things considered. The Ranchos everyone is talking about are also around $250 for the set & look to be readily available, so you'll be all in for around $750 plus a couple hours to pop them all in (unless you experience a soul killing smackdown of a war with the upper rear shock bolts).

For clarity, you didn't provide the tire size you plan to run. That will help folks provide you accurate information/recommendations.
