Hello everyone, I am new to this forum as I just purchased a 2006 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. I would like to replace these brackets as they are rusty, and I would prefer not to paint them. I tried attaching a PDF document to this post to show what I am referring to. Any idea what these are called? Or what the part number is so I can buy new ones? Thank you all!

Those are the brackets for your ARB (anti-roll bar/sway bar) bushings. Check the resource section here on WTF for the parts list for your Jeep's year to get the correct part numbers.

Those brackets normally have a plastic cover over them and are not seen.
My point is new ones will probably eventually rust also.
I would try painting the old ones with a rust converter.
Hmm interesting, good point. However, I already ordered new ones, luckily they were only $11 each. Any need to protect the new ones?
Well the originals lasted 17 years...if you get half that out of the replacements... especially at $11 ea...then I'd be happy.
I'd probably put antisieze on your bolts. And a good silicone grease for the bushings.

He never said they were bad, just rusty.
New (chinesium) ones might rust in a year, or less.
