What Are These?

I am in the process of getting my Jeep re-painted. It is a 1998 Jeep with a hardtop and full hard doors. I picked up all of the old parts that were taken off the Jeep in preparation, and I ran across these metal bars. I don't recognize these, but they look important. There is a RIGHT and a LEFT side, but I don't see a part number anywhere.

Can someone identify these?
