What backup camera and where to mount

I'm planning to grab this stereo pretty soon, I don't want a double din radio and this has just big enough of a screen that I think the backup camera will serve it's purpose.

They also combine it with this camera, but I'm not sure I like the mounting over it over the license plate. I doubt anyone would really take it, but you never know. I was thinking that maybe it would be nice to mount just above the hitch so it's easy to back up to a trailer. However, I probably will pull a trailer with this thing a couple times a year at most so not necessary really. Have any of you installed one on the spare tire? Just looking to see what kind of experiences are out there. If it works great over the license plate that is probably the easiest install.

Thanks for all the links. I had seen a few of the ones on this forum, but not the other one. I didn't realize someone made a hit cover with a camera in it, that is pretty sweet.
