What do I need to know in order to determine whether I can use this cable for the CB install?

So is my plan to run the coax alongside the harness on the drivers side a bad idea? I can switch to the passenger side, but my antenna mount is on the drivers side. I'll need five or six extra feet of wire to cross over the rear.

I don't think it's a bad idea. It's what I did! But others on here will know better than I do, so I'll stay tuned to hear whether I did anything dumb in the process.
