I’ve had my ’06 Jeep Wrangler for about 5 months now. I’ve replaced the PCM because the hard shift from 1st to 2nd and in the process of replacing the OPDA. Both are known issues for the ’05 to ’06 4L automatic. So, is there anything else I can expect? Not asking because I’m mad…I love my Jeep and I want it to last a long time. I’m trying my best stay ahead of any possible issues.

I've had mine for about 4 years and I haven't had to replace really anything. The 4.0L is amazingly reliable. The only thing you should be expecting are fuel bills.

Just treat it right and fix stuff as it comes up. The nice thing about jeeps is that you can really hear/feel when something is off/wrong. And even then sometimes it fixes itself!

Change all the fluids as you get the chance. Engine oil, coolant, brake fluid, transmission fluid, transfer case fluid, and differential fluid. Especially do the differential fluid if you don't know the history of the vehicle. Any water contamination in there will alter the fluid and accelerate wear. Clutch fluid and power steering fluid are rarely needed to be changed.

Keep an eye out for u-joint and ball joint wear. The u-joints in the front axle shaft are known to go bad eventually. On the front driveshaft (and rear, if you have an aftermarket shaft), grease the centering ball in the double cardan joint. If the double cardan joint fails, it often takes the transfer case with it. I like to keep a set of u-joints and ball joints on hand.

Grease any zerks you have.

You can expect years and years of fun. Even a trip to the dentist is better in a Jeep.
You can expect years and years of credit card charges because you just HAD to have some new rims or springs or bumper or winch or (you get the picture).
You can expect years and years of enjoying the garage while the wife is yelling that your dinner is now cold!
But if you are lucky you can expect years and years of memories with the family going places you thought only existed in the movies. Amazing camping trips, awesome day trip adventures and stories non of your co-workers can top.
You can expect years and years of the dog demanding to go for 1 more ride before bedtime.
You can expect......

I've had two 2005 TJs and never had to replace anything on them other than general maintenance items. That being said, I don't think you should expect to have to replace anything else other than typical maintenance parts such as spark plugs, cooling system, O2 sensors, and cats at some point.

I replaced a number of things on my 05. Most were needed to fix problems that others on this forum experienced. All were inexpensive, and usually easy. None prevented me from driving my Jeep.

Things I replaced on my 05 were;
Ignition switch actuator (preventative)
Heater control resistor pack (needed for all fan speeds)
Transfer case switch (needed because my 4x4 light quit working)
Fix gas tank overfill valve (needed)
Valve cover gasket (needed)

Things on my to do list are;
Replace rear main seal (because it currently leaking)
Replace transmission cooler lines (because they have some corrosion, but do not leak).
