I want to replace the ECM from one Jeep to another Jeep. The old one is Engine - 2.4L 4 Cyl DOHC 16v SMPI (ED1) 2003-2004, and the one I want to install is from 2.4 16V Power Tech DOHC I-4 (ED1) 2002. Will there be a problem, what is the difference in the system? Maybe 16V Power Tech DOHC I-4 (ED1) 2002 to have EGR? Both engines are from the older model, with a crankshaft sensor at the front, right and 5-speed manual.
