What is the coolest car or truck you have ridden in

Go ANYWHERE you point it. Got paid very well to deliver those mats.

When I was 17 years old my Dad rented this for us to drive in Hawaii. Then he tossed me the keys and said "have fun".

I almost died, literally

Ended up doing a 360 in an intersection and going off the road almost into a guard rail. This was in Maui.

Are you sure you weren't driving that little drop-top Sunfire in the background? Oh, wait. If that were the case, you'd have only wished you'd have died...:sneaky:

Oh, I forgot about that one!

My wife's cousin has one that he drives around on his 400 acres in SE Oklahoma.

He actually let my wife drive it. 🫣

Digging through those photos also found something that might belong in the "what is the coolest gun you've ever fired" thread but I'll post it since it has the big truck in the background...

@freedom_in_4low IDK who your wifes' cousin is, but based on that little info, we could be friends.

technically he's a cousin by marriage (married to my wife's moms brothers daughter), but he's the guy in the green shirt behind her. he's a firearms dealer (or at least used to be, honestly not sure how active he is as it was kindof a side gig).

The canon actually belongs to another one of her (actual) first cousins...he fabricated it himself and shoots concrete filled soda cans. I think he was 15ish at the time. These photos were taken in 2014; he's now an engineer.

That was a 4th of July get together. There was also a Barrett .50BMG but I didn't get a photo 'cause she was afraid of it.

In high school, I attended Metal Shop. There was a nerdy-type kid in the class. Wore nice clothes. Slightly overweight. Spoke rather eloquently. Anyways, while all the other kids in the class were welding together sheet metal lamps and such, he was turning down a barrel for a cannon. The kid was good. If'n I recall correctly, he donated it to the school for firing off at football games. At the very least, it was used at the games, though he may have retained ownership. I suspect he did well in whatever career he chose after school. Me, I still have my shitty sheet metal lamp out in the garage. Take that, nerdy wizard guy!!! :sneaky:

What are those tires and wheels of of?

I was told some kind of farm implement of some sort. We had a fleet of 12 of these rigs. Used them to deliver “rig matting” way in the bush to make temporary roads over bogs and muskeg during the construction of transmission lines in northern Ontario. Got to see lots of beautiful country and wildlife. Loved that job!
