What is this green plug for?

Can you get a picture of the connector looking straight at it, tell us how many wires are in it as well as their colors?
I scrolled through the WD & the only thing that looks similar to that connector in the engine bay is the 2.5L power steering pressure switch, but the manual labels it as black, not green. I seem to recall someone else had this same thing...

It’s definitely green, but that could be a UK thing. Anyway, good to know it’s not supposed to be connected to anything...

Well it sure as hell looks like this, but the color is wrong & so are the wires:
There are some others that are similar, but the colors are wrong too. This is out of the '00/'01 manual, section 8w:
