What is this hose?

Could someone tell me what this tube is for and where it goes? It’s coming out of the fuel tank

You certain it's coming from the fuel tank? Looks like the breather tube for your rear diff.

It is, thank you . Looks like it was fed up and over the gas tank.

Yep. Rear diff breather. Should be zip tied to the filler tube up near the fuel bezel.

This must be the 5 thousandth time someone has asked about this - its a common occurrence obviously. And I was one of the 5,000 right after I got my Jeep - I guess it doesn't like to stay zip tied where it belongs!

It must have came loose when I pulled out the inner fender liners

I have no idea why mine was loose - it was hanging down when I got home from the dealership.
