Hello! I'm a new owner, just got my 2001 TJ three months ago. It's a 2.5L and upon searching for vacuum leaks, I came across this port that does not have a hose to it, I also don't know where it would lead to. It's definitely pulling air while running and I feel it may help with some of the sluggish behavior the engine is exhibiting. Thanks in advance!

Welcome

If it's sucking air, cap it till you find out.

Isn't that the HVAC vacuum port that goes across the firewall to the tee on the passenger side (next to the battery)? Do you have HVAC vent control?
