What is this plug for?

I pulled my center console out and this wasn’t plugged into anything. I’ve looked all over the area and can’t find anywhere it can go. Any ideas what it is?

It's for the shift selector illumination bulb and plugs into center console on an auto trans.

Yes. It is usually just folded up and taped to the wiring harness on a manual TJ…

Need a little light for your any auxiliary switches, a gauge, your cup holders or foot wells? You could tie into that little guy for a number of things (and it works with the dimmer too!) I say rather than tuck it away, get creative with some low illumination LEDs!
