What kind of trailer is this?

Came across this old trailer while exploring the area southwest of Mt. Princeton. It looks like a pretty cool trailer; shame someone felt the need to use it for target practice.

Does anyone recognize what sort of trailer this is? It's definitely old, but I couldn't find a plate on it with any mfg details. Forest Service perhaps?

Awesome, thanks! I thought it looked too low to be a utility bed, I didn’t expect to see one below the rear window.

It looked really functional, with the drawers etc.

I would have considered it if it weren't for all of the bullet holes.
