What speakers do I have..?

Hello... When I got my TJ the PO already added an amp and speakers, subwoofers and stuff... So when I was looking into the dash speakers (cause the sound is almost none) I found this little black box and this kind of pod... Do you guys know what is the intention of the black box? I unplugged it and nothing happened.. The pod I will be removing it because I want some polk audio 5.25 to sound louder and better.. But.. I see that the wiring is not like a normal speaker... Can I just trim the wire of the conector and plug it into a normal speaker? Thanks..

That box is a junk controller for RGB lights to sync to music. Tear it out and throw it in the garbage.

As for the speaker wires, cut the plug off if it's not compatible with your new speakers and wire them directly.
