What the <bleep> is this?

Found this "wire" hanging in my 1997 Heep TJ jeep (2.5L Manual) today. It is next to the frond bulkhead, and comes up by the battery. It goes into the frame at the front, and I can't find it coming out anywhere else. Anyone have any idea?

Old winch wire? That's a decent size cable. Not that I'd trust it to run a winch

Does it run forward or back in the frame?

Edit: Probably not a winch wire

Looks like a CB radio connector or a fuse connector for an old radio system.

The wire runs backwards.

It's probably for some long gone accessory. Could be anything, really. Can you see what gauge wire it is?

Trace it down. Looks like CB antenna wire judging by the connector ring.

Its not factory, whatever it is. Someone added it for something.

Power wire for an amp is my guess. That piece looks very similar to the fuse cap mine has
