Ok so I feel like a total noob here. I’ve wired stereos and other things before but have never used a fuse tap. I’ve got a few simple projects I want to do where I’m adding new rocker switches in the leftover factory spots. After reading lots of articles it seems a lot of guys use fuse taps to source power. Seems simple enough...I ordered fuse taps and went to install tonight but the plastic shoulders on the tap are just a bit too wide to push down in the fuse slot. Not to mention even if I could get it down the blades are definitely too short to get down into the fuse slots. I’ve since read some more and now realize there are several types of fuse taps in addition to the sizes. Can someone tell me what type of tap I should be using? Much appreciated!
