What's an acceptable range for axle housing offset?

I've probably done 20+ axle swaps, but never really thought hard about what would be an acceptable range. For all the ones I've swapped, generally, I'll leave it alone if gets within 1/4". However, most of the time it falls within 1/8", but I have seen the numbers vary widely. I'm wondering about it now, because I have a rear JKS track bar to install on my LJ. It currently has 2" lift springs on it, with no other lift additions. When I took my initial measurements, the rear is pushed to the right 11/16", which I would expect with a 2" lift. I know once I unload the stock track bar it will move back, but I'm curious what others consider acceptable?

FWIW, I've already replaced the front stock track bar with a JKS. The front end self centered and is only 1/16" off. I'm only asking the question because I've seen numbers all over the place!

I try to get as close as possible so it depends on the thread pitch on the Trackbar I’m using just how perfect I can get. I’m fine if it’s within 1/16”.
