Where is the best place to connect for a LED lightbar?

Do what @Mr. Bills suggested in another thread.

Pull the cover from the power distribution box (next to the battery) and use a "add-a-circuit" fuse tap for a circuit you know is ignition hot such as the blower motor.

I wired my lights directly to the battery with a switch on the dash going to the new weatherproof relay under the hood. This way I can flip it on if I need lighting without starting her up. I personally recommend wiring it this way and not tapping into existing electrical fuses.

X2. All of my LED lightings is wired to the battery via a relay. Doing it in this configuration allows the relay to take the load of the lightbar and not the switch.
