Why won’t it start?

I gave into my dream and installed a 10 inch sub in the back of the Jeep from Best Buy. Anyway after installing it I have been having tons of problems. My voltmeter on the dash maxes out and it won’t start unless I jump it. I think it’s bad terminal connections because I’ve replaced an alternator and battery today and it still needs the cables from my portable jumper to start. I’ve disconnected the sub but it doesn’t seem to have fixed anything. Any ideas would be great as I’ve got a long drive tomorrow morning.

I also would be looking at the battery terminals.... been thinking of putting these on my list of to do’s....

I'd be double and triple checking everything you did with regards to the sub woofer you installed.

I would remove everything you installed with regards to that. As you described it, it seems the problem arose after that install. Could be a short somewhere.
