Trying to figure out why my wife’s 2007 Honda Accord wont start. Here’s the deal:

-previously long cranks to start in cold weather
-didn’t start last week in single digit weather. Jump started it and it turned over.
-this week, didn’t start again in single digit weather. Attempted to jump start. No go this time. Cranks for a second then stops.
-battery was holding charge at 12.8V but replaced battery anyways since it was 5 years old
-installed new battery, and same weak first crank then stops.
-automatically assumed bad starter so I started to take apart things to get to the starter

Am I missing anything? Before I go buy a starter, just want to make sure I’m replacing the right part. It’s on the original starter at 128k miles. I know OEM is the best replacement but 1. They’re pretty darn expensive but mostly 2. It’ll take 9 days for it to arrive if I order it online. Anyone have experience with Duralast starters with the lifetime replacement? It gets mixed reviews from what I’ve read. Best to buy new vs reman? Any advice is appreciated.
