Wil 17x9 -14mm offset wheels fit?
Starting with 35x12.5 when the KO3 is released will go to 37" of course they are 5x4.5

Depends on the tire width and if the wheels are 4.5x5".

The backspace will be about 3.95” with that offset. You’re probably using a 12.5” wide tire. Assuming you have stock axles. That should work if the bolt pattern is 5x4.5.

With a 9" wheel and -14 offset, that equates to just under 4.5" of back space. With 35" tires they're going to rub for sure!

How is that chart correct?

On this chart offset is tied to the hub mounting face of the wheel.

-14mm = -0.551”. If the 0 offset is the centerline of a 9” wheel, then why wouldn’t we subtract 0.551” from 4.5” to get the backspace?

Not sure but I have 17x9's with a -12 offset and they're spec'd by the manufacture at 4.5" backspace like listed on the chart.

Metric is stupid except for math, but even then the guy who started the system’s measurements were wrong so it’s totally contrived and doesn’t match reality.

@JMT

I think the rim width that is 9" is actually10" overall. The centerline of that is 5". Where rim width is measured to inside of beads and backspace is measured from outside of bead.

So are you guys saying I'm going to have interference issues ,or not?

I had 17x9 wheels with a -6mm offset and they cleared fine with a 12.50" wide tire. I now have 17x9 wheels with a -12mm offset combined with a 1.25" 5x4.5 to 5x5 adapter and my 12.50" tires clear with plenty of room. The difference from -6mm to -12mm is a 1/4" (I hate metric).

I think you need to be in the -6 to -12mm offset for the wheels to clear with a 12.50" tire.

I think the real issue will be running a 37" tire on a Dana 30/35 axle; depending on what you are doing with it.

Find out what the backspacing is. Offset doesn’t help answer your question. Plus, it’s against forum rule 194c.32.

-14mm is less backspace than -6 to -12mm, so if they would fit, then -14mm would fit.

Need to know backspace.

Not putting on 30 or 35 axles, Dana 44
