Hey all!

During a big winter storm I am thinking about the summer. I have a 1998 jeep TJ with a OEM soft top frame and a brand new best top replace a top fabric on it. I also have a 2006 jeep TJ 65th anniversary edition that has a OEM option sunrider soft top on it that has old fabric. My question is can I take the new fabric from the 98 and move it to the 2006 frame to the install the sunrider with the new fabric to my 98 jeep? Does this work or not at all?

Thanks for the help!

The soft top fabric from the 1998 Jeep TJ won't fit onto the 2006 frame directly. There were some design changes between those model years, particularly with the attachment points and frame design. The sunrider feature on the 2006 frame also has specific design elements that the older fabric won't accommodate.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but that's where my research pointed me.
