Most stock pumps will not last when pushed hard. Minimum I would add more volume and a cooler to the system. I have seen a stock pump and reservoir grafted on to an old tractor and run a loader, steering, and remotes last for more than a decade of extreme abuse. And others crap out just idling with minimal use. 70's Dodge truck pumps are (supposedly) one of the most durable setups. They were used to run snowplows along with steering. I wouldn't trust any brand of reman. Be sure to keep OEM if you try it, or better yet there are aftermarket pumps designed for extreme duty.
