Okay...this could go in multiple directions, but here it goes:

- My 04 hardtop has a TON of wind noise coming into the cabin. As a first time Jeep owner, I don't know if this is expected or something I need to look into.
- The other variable is that I seem to have some sort of a water leak somewhere and I don't know if it is related or separate to the source of wind noise.

The drought in California makes it hard to pin point the source but I will be upgrading and replacing all of my door seals to hopefully help, but I'm wondering if there is a seal at the windshield/roof line that I should also be replacing.

interest in general thoughts. I've read some threads that say that to own a jeep is to expect leaks but I believe that is mostly in YJ and earlier. And I know that it's not meant for aerodynamics but I can hear "whistling" inside so I'm really curious of what's normal and what are common areas to improve upon.

Last time I fixed a wind/water leak on my buddies 04 it was a roached out windshield frame.

It wasn’t specifically associated with his hardtop but it was only noticeable when the hardtop was installed.

they leak! try and find mopar seals if you can. a lot of aftermarket seals are no good. find your leak with a water hose with someone inside looking. start low and work your way higher till water leak is found. took me for ever to find mopar door seals and even longer to find the windshield header seal and windshield to cowl seal.
