Wiper motor help

Hi all,
Wipers stopped working yesterday, took the motor off today and it’s a tad rusted:

Couple of questions:
Mine is a RHD and apparently the LHD doesn’t mount the same. Trying to find a new RHD is impossible.

Might be a dumb question, but if buy a LHD one from rockauto and use the good motor cap from it, will it work? Or is the whole unit shot?
I plugged it back in like the pic above without the cap and I can hear a slight tick when I put the wipers on (like the motor wants to turn but it can’t because the magnets are in the cap)

Otherwise I’m just gonna get a second hand one from a local wrecker here

Crisis averted. Found a new one locally. No name brand but 12 month warranty so all good.
Cut the originally rubber boot in half so the moisture doesn’t get trapped against the motor and rust again
