I've got a 98 tj with some wiring issues that kinda have me slightly baffled(in all reality I'm sure it's just ground issues). Whenever I push on the brake pedal the left front marker light comes on. And the other issue is the wipers quit working but the washer fluid spray position works..

I was thinking so, this is my first jeep and didn't know if it was something common or not so I figured I'd ask on here before I got out my probe
Does your left rear marker/tail light come on also?
I'd start by removing the left rear tail light bulb, see if the problem goes away. It may simply be installed wrong. (Look at the bulb, notice the indexing pins are offset)
