Wrap-arround windjammer

Hello to all,

It's been ages since I last posted on the forum, but I read you regularly and am very inspired by all your comments. Thank you for this!

I want to install a windjammer wrap-around. But I am tall and have the need to move my seat back as far as possible, past the crossbar.
My question is, is the windjammer flexible enough to bring my seat in as I need it, or is the windjammer definitely for little people?

I went off the Idea once I see so many pics of the seat headrest forward of the bar once fitted, I am not tall but my headrest is past the top bar and it looks like the seat would be pushing into the windjammer so I went with a full safari and removable windows and a home made parcel shelf instead of the tonnaue (sp) cover

There is a lot of cool looking stuff made for TJs that end up being impractical or just look like total shit once fitted! I have a shed full of it

Are the seats fully upright? I am only 5'9 and dont recline much and my headrests are just past the rollbar. In the pic it looks like the back of your seat headrest is forward of the window surrounds? the rear of my seats are way back from the surround's and as I said I have minimal recline so maybe different seats on the 06?

I think my seat is one or two clicks from being fully upright. The Windjammer has enough flex that you can recline the seat all the way back and not have a problem.

Bestop: Available at Quadratec, Extreme Terrain, Amazon, ebay, etc. As far as I know, Bestop is the only one who makes a wraparound windjammer. I believe that Rampage makes one that is a complete half cab, too.

Not trying for a half cab sort of thing, just wanted the high air flow cut down some....Thanks for your reply, tho...

The Windstopper and Windjammer are different. The Windstopper just straps across the rollbar while the Windjammer wraps around to the door surrounds to act like a half cab.

I realize that. I have a full top with full doors for Late Fall, Winter, and early Spring. I just wanted to extend the Bimini Top and half door season.....
