X-clamp with Hi-lift

Has anyone used the Rugged Ridge X-clamp on the roll bar to mount their hi-lift? I was thinking of using them to mount it inside in the back.

A high lift scares me a bit in the Jeep if it isn't super secure. Mine is mounted on the hood. Do I need a high lift, probably not. But it does seem very secure up there and I don't mind the look.

I use the Bolt side mount on the driver side. Is very simple to remove the Hi-Lift Jack from this area for me. Jeep on 33's and me been short is not a fun combination.

I've got the X-clamp too but I haven't tried it with high lift. How was it?
