i have a 99 TJ with a 2.5. I am considering doing away with that big ugly fan shroud (electric fan) and I was wondering if anyone has considered replacing the power steering pump with one from an older XJ? I've worked in Jeep parts since the 80's and noticed that the XJ pump has the reservoir is mounted to the pump. the bolt pattern is the same and the older XJ's used the same belt tensioner as the older TJ's. I'm thinking of trying it.
