Zeon 10 or xd9000i?

I recently acquired both winches, but will only keep one. I’m inclined to keep the newer Zeon, but the xd appears to have better statistics, other than the 9k vs 10k, both of which are more than enough for my TJ.

It is interesting that they are both similarly priced new. Which one do you think is better and why?

My vote is for the XD

I’ve had two on different Jeeps. No failures yet.

Not sure what specs you are looking at but while the Zeon10 is a bit slower at no load it pulls higher loads faster and with lower amp draw. The Zeon is also better sealed and comes with a contactor in place of solenoids. It does have one issue and that it is a bit portlier than its older brothers and does not fit all mounts.

If you're going to sell one, you'd probably sell the Zeon for more and quicker as well.
