What did you do to your TJ today?

Also received my rear bumper clankers, complete with extra anti-clank pads:

I began killing two birds with one stone. I broke my second OEM fog light mount and I was also looking for some better (better than the POS 3/4" lights that come with the Genright kit) turn signal visability. I have some Trucklite 3/4" lights that I haven't installed yet but after breaking the OEM fog mount I bought some combo fog/turn signal lights. They're only mocked up so no report on effectiveness yet.

Pics with the turn signal lamps on would be interesting to see

I don’t remember what brand I bought that was defective. I’m pretty sure I bought it from autozone though. This new one was a OEM replacement from daveys jeeps on eBay.
Did you buy OEM or aftermarket multi function switch? I need to replace mine too. I pulled my fog light fuse last fall and figured I’d address it in the spring.
I just wonder how long the aftermarket one would last.

The Tuffy glove box finally came, after a FedEx delay. It’s keyed to match the lock on my center console, and they even sent 2 extra keys. I installed it this morning. Installation was pretty straightforward. The only pain in the ass was drilling the two holes into the dash for the security bolts, but even that wasn’t too bad. I had to bend the locking tab slightly to get it to latch easily, but it looks great. Next test is to check for rattles while driving.

I also took more pics of the security trunk in the back. The back of it got scratched up by the rear seat brackets, but I’m not super concerned about it. I had to do some adjustments to get the rear seat to latch properly, and I still have to reinstall the rear seatbelt bracket, but all in all I’m pretty happy with these Tuffy purchases!

Those look great! Anyone have experience with how they hold up?
If you do a search for Iggee you should find that info. I read about them on one of the forums here and purchased them because of the mostly good reviews. I'm very satisfied with them so far, the weather is still a little cold and I anticipate that when it warms up, they will fit even better.

I installed my fire extinguisher bracket within reach of the driver. I had it on the rear roll cage which would of been a pain to get to in an emergency. I found this bracket on Amazon. I bolted it to the seat studs with careful placement I can still slide seat forward and tilt to get in the back.View attachment 308695View attachment 308696View attachment 308697
The part you bought off Amazon, was it the metal bar or the quick-release mount, or both?

If it was the bar, would you have a link or product name to search?

Which material did you get? They list like 8 different ones on their web site.

I've been waiting for some parts so I was reading some threads. Saw the one on installing the Chevy retractable light. I've had one of those laying around for years and could never think of a use for it, well thanks to this forum, I have finally gotten it out of my spare parts locker.

Since we’re going to be volunteering at a Texas state park for March & April & the TJ will be outside for those 2 months, there were a few things I wanted to do:
Two days ago I changed oil & filter & lubed the front end.
Yesterday & washed & detailed it including under the hood. This job included 2 coats of Griot’s Garage ceramic wax & an application of Bestop convertible top conditioner & window cleaner.
Today I got a 5 tire rotation.
‘Good to go!
