Here's one you might never see another one of. The owner/builder is a "large" guy, apparently to the point where a 4 dr. was too hard for him to get in and out of. His solution was to move the B pillar back and install the driver's door from a 2 dr. The rear door was then shortened. The other side looks like a regular 4 dr. XJ. I guess he's got the best of both worlds.

We had an ‘85 240 DL wagon from ‘93 to ‘02. We bought it in Houston because it had AC and just had our first baby. I loved that thing. Super durable kid and dog hauler. And the boxy looks just worked. Although I couldn’t fault the reliability of the 4 cylinder (non-turbo), there was this company somewhere in the northeast that made kits for a SBC conversion… Michigan salt killed it and my dreams.
You can still find them in OK shape here in the Pacific Northwest. Maybe I should pick another one up and put an LS in it?
