Radiator replacement quick connect transmission cooler lines

I have a 2005 TJ RHD auto and have just replaced the radiator. The after market radiator has hose fittings for the trans cooler lines but my Jeep has the quick connect fittings introduced in 2004 I understand. The radiator came with multiple hose adaptors but not the adaptor for the quick connect fitting.
I wanted to confirm that the Dorman 800-605 adaptor worked perfectly despite the model checker constantly returning “not suitable for the 2005 TJ”. Unfortunately the old radiator was badly cracked so the Jeep has been off the road for 3 weeks whilst the part was flown to the UK so thought it worth posting as it took me a while to identify what was needed to resolve the issue.

Did you try to heat up the fittings on the old radiator and carefully remove them. We had to do this on a friends LJ in Moab last year, he bought an aftermarket radiator at the local Napa or O’Reilly.

Thanks for the mention @CharlesHS, however when it came time to replace my radiator I was already in the middle of diesel and transmission swap so I can't say if the above parts will work or not. I can tell you that you need to keep the brackets that are bolted to your radiator. I got a replacement radiator from Autozone and the brackets that it came with were designed for a Left Hand Drive setup not a Right Hand Drive setup. You should be able to unbolt them and swap them over to your new radiator.

Gotcha, clearly not enough coffee in me yet today
