Or cut/grind off the offending portion.

If it's too bent to mate with the body mount, put the puck in a vise, grap the lip with a crescent wrench and flare it back out. keep that point pointed toward the vehicle when you install it so its not visible.
This... Or I used a hammer and dolly to lightly work mine back into shape. Use some masking tape to protect the anodizing.

Yeah gets me thinking

I’ll tape it up and tap it with a plastic mallet, it is bullshit aluminum(weak) after all.

That's why people use polyeurehylenepropylene... errr soft crap. They bend more slower.

Hammer fix it.

At least you don't have to worry about your first dent, I'd put it on. I don't see how that's a big deal unless you're building a show Jeep and want to post glam shots of your body mounts.

I've fixed many that were treated in a less than stellar fashion by owners removing them and tossing them around. I use a round chunk of bar stock and put it in the shop press to mash it back round. Incidentally, that is a trick I learned dealing with the shit packaging from Yukon on their hub kits. The snout for the inner seal gets bent and I have to make it back round to accept a tap in seal. Be glad yours in minorly offensive and won't affect functionality.
