Are these seat risers?

I haven't seen these in any other posts....I assume the previous owner of my TJ put in home made risers to sit a little higher?
He was a big fella (pushing 7 ft I'd guess, played center for Kansas), but he didn't mention this little mod when I bought my Jeep in January.
I assume I don't need them, the other posts I've seen look like the seat riser bolts directly into the floor. Is that correct?

That is exactly what they are. You can remove them if you wish…

The bolts will be a bit long after removal. Should still be able to use them though…

That is exactly what they are. I put them in mine, although they are a little shorter. I like the position much better.

The taller guys buying Gladiators/JLs are getting risers on the front mounts to angle the seats back some. The seating position in the JT is my only real complaint with it, I need the seat to be about 1 to 1 1/2 inches lower, as I'm looking out the windshield just under the rearview mirro, and I have to duck to see some stop lights. I love where the seats in our TJ sits... I look right out the center of the windshield, and all the controls are just in the right spot for the seating position.
