I recently used the Novus 3 step polish on my window, and while polishing one of the back windows the tape I had covering the fabric came off and some polish got on the material. It now has a noticeable long white stain. I’ve tried soap and water with a soft brush and it just hasn’t worked. Any suggestions?

Get it in the shade and let simple green soak on it for about 15 minutes and then hit it with a brush and hot water

If that doesn’t work try WD-40 and then do the simple green to get rid of the residue

I used dawn and a stiff brush when I had that problem. I didn’t care that much about the top or my paint so take that into consideration.

I saw the title of this thread and thought we were going to be talking about kelbasa grease or something.

They make "convertible top" cleaners that might be helpful, but since Novus is probably water soluble I'm guessing more time with a soft bristle brush and soapy water are going to be best.

I had a friend who used to polish aluminum motorcycle frames and other various stuff. Kind of a side business. He made a website called Extreme Polish.

When he showed it to me I read it as Extreme Polish (the country) just to mess with him. We laughed about that for years. LOL He passed away in 2020. He was a good guy.
