Just bought some Rubi wheels and tires and I had the opportunity to compare side by side to my other tires. Thought this might help someone in the future.
I did not weigh them but the Rubi tires are MUCH heavier.
Keep in mind it's not so much the tire's weight that affects performance and braking, it's more from its diameter. Think lever length as in leverage against the drivetrain and brakes.
Bet some of it is in the wheel too. Rubi wheels are heavy and have the integrated bead retention humps. I remember shortly after they came out tire installers where complaining it took 80 psi or more to seat the bead which is really high for a LT tire. Use lots of lube and put them in a tire cage. It takes what it takes.

Yup. When my 03 Rubicon was about a year old I put 35”x15” KO’s on it with AR Baja 15x8” rims and they were about 5lbs lighter than the stock Goodyear tire/wheel combo.
