Thoughts on this TJ I'm thinking of purchasing?

I have been searching for a TJ for several months now. This listing popped up at a Jeep dealership about 2 hours from me.

What do y'all think? I emailed the dealership to ask for some frame/undercarriage pictures and got the following. Not the best resolution, but looks potentially promising...I'm thinking good enought to take a drive down at least?

From using the Jeep Build Sheet link and inputting the vin, looks like it has a Dana 44 rear and 3.73s.

Would be most grateful for any advice or thoughts y'all might be willing to share!

Looks pretty decent, miles are low, frame looks ok but I would definitely recommend looking at it internally. It does look like a check engine light is on and for some reason the radiator looks weird to me.

I’d be all over it, and see if it fits, if you want an Auto. I would never get one, but it looks solid.

If you can get that for 13k, if everything. Is solid. No substitute for looking at it personally, banging on any possible rust, listening to the motor etc.

Get down there immediately, get eyes on it for a close inspection and be ready to buy if it is good to go.

That’s not going to last long. Best year, low miles, stock, automatic, clean, rare color. If I were in the market I would already have that thing home.

Look inside the frame. That area is known for rust. This one sold in 2 days. No rust. I would have bought it if it was an auto.

A quick update…made it by the dealership yesterday to take a look at it. Ended up walking away. Frame looked decent but too crusty overall underneath for my liking; I feel like I’d be snapping off a bolt anytime I tried to loosen something. Also had a RMS leak, mismatched tires with really old date codes, wiring from being towed/towing was a rat’s nest, and when I first got there and they pulled it around, they couldn’t get it to shift into park! They took it back to the service department and supposedly “fixed” it, but I couldn’t get a good explanation from the tech or salesperson of what they did.

So the search continues…
