I use my 2' HF breaker bar whenever I try to remove a torx (aka star) bit without stripping it.

I'm on the 2nd of 3 applications of PB Blaster. Breaker bar is next.

I used a 1/2 inch impact on mine. Didn't strip or break the snap on torx bit.

I found these for cheap. I can toss them on the half doors if it looks like rain in the morning. I need to see if there is something that will clear up the plastic without scratching it.

It beats getting wet.

Novus 3 step polish works great. A cleaner/wax will help too.

I've been using the Plexus line for years. They have a few 'cuts' depending on the severity of the scratches. Once You're happy with the finish you can use the Plexus detail spray to keep them looking good. Works on the tail light lenses, the gauge cluster etc...

I used that stuff on my buddy's BMW convertible rear window years ago. It worked wonders on it.
