Did some rust mitigation on my bumper, added edge protection to my storage box and taught my daughter how to change the oil.

..lucky I can take a joke and only cried like a baby for an hour hahaI talked to the guy with the rotten frame. He pointed out the frame and said his next thing to do is get the frame fixed.

Installed new exterior door handles today. First one was a battle, second one wasn't too bad. I had broke the passenger one last camping trip. Got rid of chrome ones and put black handles on. Doors open very nicely now.
I still have to do this. I've had the new handles for about a year now.

I got the savvy rear control arms on and the old ones off. The joints on the old ones were toast.

First one was a battle, dealing with a super small place. Watched some videos, worked through it. Did the second one in about 20 minutes. Can't believe how easy the doors open now

Going to do a bunch of painting tomorrow if it doesn't rain . After I lower that skid plate that is. That really looks good , mine is not all that bad looking as I have no rust but I want it to look like new on the under side to show all the new parts I have on there. I was hoping to be a little further along but we have had a lot of rain and it's rained out a lot of my days off.One side sprayed. Only spraying the frame for now. I’ll unbolt the axles and remove the springs later on and address them, I’m due for a JJ rebuild anyway. You never know, something new might show up under this frameI did take the time to polish up my Savvy rear control arms though

I ain't lazy, I just have more exciting and interesting things to do to my tj.
I also got in new extended brake lines ( OEM type ) , starting to gather more parts to rebuild the two axles.

Slapped a set of Black Max shocks on the front, the shocks of unknown origin that were on there were both leaking and the lower mount rubbers were almost completely gone
I have a set of rears on order, I'll put them in next weekend, does anyone know if the rear Black Max's can be mounted can up?

Checked to make sure my new front Elocker4 came with a bent stator tab ... yep it sure did!
