Savvy off-road sold? (the unofficial Savvy customer support and Savvy rant thread)

I think it’s the last relic from a generation of motoring … 2006 vehicle with no ABS, no Traction control, all iron pushrod motor and CHEAP! I do own a gladiator, wrangler 4xe (wife) but there is nothing like a TJ/LJ. TJ is just a polished up CJ, and not really much different.

It is sad to see these type of vehicles leave our lives and become abandoned and replaced with boring, fattened up and astronomically priced.

I have owned 5 TJ/LJs and purchedes my current LJ as a fixer upper to beat up off-road, but somehow feel the need to restore and preserve this rig, so I end up treating it like a classic car :-/ …

I feel the exact same way! I bought my LJ to offroad, and somehow I feel bad about it. Maybe I just need to get that first dent..

You only get one life and any pristine vehicle only benefits the next person who gets it. As for the Jeep, you can off-road it and still keep it looking good. Maybe not "show car" good, but if you don't wheel it, you're missing out on what they were made for....off-road fun!

I don't feel about offroading mine, but it does play into my willingness to push myself into more difficult trails. It's a balance though...I don't want to dent the tub but I was ok with drilling 50 holes in it to mount sliders.

This came today. No sticker though

Yeah, I tend to agree. Plus mine's not some low-mile Rubihara, soo I'm not loosing out on too much. Now if only savvy would ship my parts so I can get out there and enjoy it to even more.
