What did you do to your TJ today?

Changed the spark plugs, the old plugs were worn, but it looks like they were burning pretty well. Not sure if they were original, Champion RC12CC. Replaced them with Autolite XP 985. Added a dab of anti seize and some electrical grease. Will drive it later tonight.

these were the original plugs at 90k electrode was paper thin and the gap was.085 and larger. Forget the brand NGK I think.

ps use to cruise the Valley Parkway back in the day.

Well my 2 year old M8000 winch was having issues free spooling...again...so I took the clutch end apart and checked things out...not the clutch...when I loosen the top tie rods it spins much easier...but only through 7/8s of the rotation and then binds. Called Warn and the next time I'm up in Portland I'll drop it off for warranty repair.

Since I had the winch unspooled I decided to take my pink Barbie CJeep Amazon rope (it was red for three solid days!) and take the metal hook and loop off and make a poor man's freedom winch line.

It's not perfect but it'll do for my needs. And at least I'm not going to get bonked in the face by a 5 lb hook.

This was a single line diamond knot and I used a cheap plastic fid I bought on that jungle website.

that plug was well used! I drove my rig last night, it maybe just me, but it sure seemed to be running stronger. We live off Del Dios, just past where it changes from Valley Parkway. We really like it here, but the direction this state is headed is making me consider other options.

New rear floor pans showed up today and I got my second ever Mopar part today too lol It’s like Christmas for my Jeep lately. I also bought some angle iron and and some flat bar steel to try to fabricate an attachment for my engine hoist to be able to use it for hard top removal. I saw some pictures of one for JK so I’m going to make one for my TJ and save my wife the hassle of helping me remove and install it lol

That's a good idea for the top, when I bought my Jeep it had a hard top on it and I told the guy I like the Jeep but I was going to sell the hard top and he said he would knock a thousand off if he could keep the top .... I said oh hell yeah , I already had bought the soft top I wanted to go on it and that saved me the trouble of selling it.
Anyway we took the top off and it was not easy with us two guys .... my wife and I taking it off , that would have never happened ! I think your wife must whip your ass all the time ! :D

Probably is, I know I noticed a difference. 😉. I lived out on Gopher Canyon, Valley Parkway was just the place to go..

Rock crawling is a fast way to remove the rust from my gas tank skid.

I think Saavy is the most affordable...UCF has the most capacity...

Haven't decided what I am doing...it's not leaking and the plastic might pop out when it gets hot this summer.

Ignoring it for now.
