Well since I’m here on a Friday with a cold one I figured I’d start a build thread. Not so much going on right now for an actual “build”, but here is thunderheads story.
I bought it used in Nov 2014 for 16k and 70k miles on it. PAID IF OFF LAST FRIDAY Totally stock. 2 inch B.B. and trans cooler were the first mods. Then bumpers ( newb mistake getting the tubes ) My rear hinges were busted so took those off and re welded them so the tailgate wouldn’t swing free and hit my tail light. Little
bits here and there. As of now I’m installing 240 in my garage to set up the welder I got. My thoughts have been on a homemade roof rack ( with the hard top off) and using my stock bumpers as the front and back. Tubing all around. We will see how it looks but it in my head it looks bad ass lol. Also going to take all the roll bar covers off and rattle can the bars black. If the welding goes well on the roof rack the next item will be my rear bumper.
It’s paid off now so right down the road will be Antirock so if I go 2.5 I won’t be changing the discos again

Welding skillz and jeep ownership go hand in hand me thinks. I built a small cage and some cross bars back before I started my trailer build. Check out this Jed Clampett wannabe, lol!

I figure the roof rack and the tail hitch and we won’t need the trailer anymore

Whether up here in Oregon is crazy too, seriously. It's 60+ and clear skies today. The flowers look like they're getting ready to bloom. This is the complete opposite of last Winter.

Yep, wired up the breaker to the fuse box and ran it into my garage for my 1st new welder
