For further reference, this is connector C3 in the FSM, and the terminals are labelled A, B, and C from top to bottom:

The blower motor grounds through terminals B and C. Terminal B comes from the motor and terminal C goes to a ground behind the instrument panel. Since the current driving the blower goes through both B and C, and they are both melted, it's a sure indicator that the blower was drawing too much current and needs to be replaced. You might as well replace the blower resistor pack, too, as that may be the root cause. The resistors can destroy the blower motor and vice versa.
Edited to add: I learned these lessons on the old Subaru, which does this same thing, except it isn't just the connector that gets melted, it's the fan speed mechanism inside the HVAC control. You have to replace the entire control to fix it, and they are now quite scarce ($$$$).
