After a LOT more research and investigating while I was stuck in the back seat of an Expedition and limited cell service it would seem that my head gasket test may not have been 100% positive as it was reported to be.
And I'm back to being 90% certain that it's a head gasket issue and not a water pump/timing cover issue.

So that means I need to buy a set of KDD (Kill Devil Diesel) O-Ringed heads and a GOOD gasket set & some ARP cylinder head studs and then swap out the cylinder heads on a rig that is designed to have the cab pulled to work on the engine.
I've been told I can snake everything out if I jack the cab up about 4-6" but that it's still a total PITA to get it done.
