What did you do to your TJ today?

So is tomorrow hood cutting time?

Might be- I’m not dead happy with the stone white paint- I’ll take a look at it tomorrow in sunlight but it looks just a tad yellow -

Realistically it doesn’t have to be perfect to do the cutting, I can take them in and out until I get to the point that I decide to urethane them to the hood (if I do)

I’ve got some single stage stone white that I had mixed that I’m going to take a look at.

It hit about 80 degrees here today and will tomorrow then we are going to see cooler temps- I’m likely to be out in my other jeep since the top is off all I can tomorrow.

Used up my saved up coupon/ loyalty points at the gas station today it would’ve cost me $150 but with my discount it only cost me $7 !!! 🥳
Plus it was the annual ‘ Take your skeleton to work day ‘ 😂

Follow by dinner at a slow cook BBQ restaurant . Pulled pork and my mate had beef brisket … great way to end the day after having to work on Sunday. (Just wish there was more on the plate)

Starting to get cold...

Did the Savvy t-case cable shifter and the straight t-case lever. The lever was a bitch. It needed to be drilled which was easy, but the threads were supposed to be M10 x 1.5 and must have gotten mangled at some point because not a single M10 x 1.5 nut actually threaded on, nor did the knob. Had to chase the threads to get it come together. Wasn't hard, but didn't expect that detour.

Shifts like butter and I can see the gauges too.

What mod is that? I missed class that day. 🤔

My 5.9 Grand Cherokee vents for my white 04. Trying to dump some hood heat.

-3 demerits- poor class attendance

One day everyone will look back on my time here and say “he was cruel, but very fair”

Used it to take the kayaks home from the pond. End of summer. Little depressing.

I sure miss kayaking! I used to go every week, but since the homeless got out of control in my area, I don't feel safe going anymore. :( That looks like a great spot to kayak in!! :D

A savvy shifter is a true upgrade. The sure feel and smooth drama free action is money well spent. Good move.

Spent over an hour sticking my hands down beside the engine, around the A/C and heater hoses(and dipstick tubes and coil) splicing in the new bank 2 sensor 2 pigtail, it's one of those I can see it, I just can't reach it and use tools in the area.
When I moved the harness to access the wires the PO's splice job just came apart, that explains the P0158 I've been living with.
New pigtail seems to have fixed the issue 🤞 will be monitoring the situation closely
Another bonus to putting the top back on is being able to run through the car wash, LJ's nether regions haven't been hosed off since May
