What a great thread, I am just finding a lot of the "hidden" stuff on this forum. We do a lot of hunting both in CA., Oregon, and CO. That is what lead us to buying the TJ,something we can tow behind the camper when hunting. My wife's CO muley. from this past season. We are hitting the sheds this week, hopefully.....View attachment 33199
What part of California are you from? Wife and I also hunted Colorado a few years back. Putting in for Antelope in Wyoming this year.

Nice shed. Your dog finds the sheds for you? What state are you shed hunting .... California? Our buck here just lost their antlers.
Yeah we have a couple of great dogs, we have been using dogs for almost 25 years now for sheds, Probably one of the best hobbies around, free, trophy hunting with family, friends, the dogs, and now a jeep!

We are in Northern California as well, but not as far North as you.
That is a great way to spend time in the outdoors with family, friends and your dogs. We go to this one area where there is a resident Tule Elk herd and look for sheds. We don't have much luck, (did find one 5 point shed but the squirrels bet me to it) but we keep going back and looking.

We are in Redding, a spend a lot of time in central Oregon for Deer, elk, and Sheds. Blacktail photography is our #1 passion followed by putting food on the table. View attachment 33234
Nice, I love to hunt. I have a cabin in Clark County WI. Live for the fall and bowhunting. Just had some trails bulldozed for the deer and the Jeep!

This is how my wife and I hunted Elk in Colorado....Living quarters in front of the horse trailer.View attachment 33380

Great photos ....
Second photo ... background, left side border area .... above the grill of your truck. Elk?
Also, if I may ask ..... where in BC do you hunt B-bear?
My buddy ran the B-bear operation for a somewhat flamboyant guide/outfitter on Vancouver Island.
Great lookin 'hay-burners' ..... buckskin yours?

No, those weren't elk, light areas under the trees showing the brown grass (good eye though).
We hunted Black Bear out of Vanderhoof.
Yep...Buckskin mine. Great horse! She didn't care what you put on her back. Deer, Elk and pigs.
