LED light kit recommendations for 2000 TJ

Can anyone help with recommendations on LED light kits for a 2000 Jeep TJ? I like the Morimoto headlights (have them on my F150 and they are superb!) but I am scratching around to find turn signals, marker lights and tail lights as a kit from one manufacturer... Any ideas or do I just mix and match?

Also, anyone got any recommendations on the LED Turn Signal Flasher modules? The Diode Dynamics one on Extreme Terrain has mixed reviews....

Help appreciated.

I dont think theres a total package deal
Even if there was, it would be insane markup

I just got sequential turn signal markers off Amazon, then I found them off Aliexpress (same) for half the cost

I installed factory JK LED lights. Very happy with outcome. I followed instruction from video below. I got my lights from EBay and made sure all the plastic was intact so lights aim can be properly adjusted.

I've tried a few LED headlight options. The PO had a really cheap set of spider-eye LEDs that were bright as all heck but had zero pattern.. just a huge wash of light. Ditched those for a set of Trucklite knock-offs recommended here. Hated them too. They threw light straight up in front the Jeep lighting the underside of overhead trees. Replaced them with the Toyota/ Koito H4 kit which is amazing and crazy cheap. Loved the pattern. Glass housings. With the included HD harness and 80/100 bulbs they were plenty bright but I hated the color.

I switched to Holley RetroBrights a few years ago and love them. The bulb module is made by Morimoto and is interchangeable in the unlikely event of a burn-out or if you want to change the color temperature. Nice clean pattern. Choice of temperature. Period correct look for our aging vehicles. Plug-n-Play. Not the cheapest but not most expensive option but these are keepers for me. Love them.

You wouldn't know they are LED by looking at them...

Toyo/Koito H4 on the passenger side & Holley RetroBright on the drivers side

One possible downside noted by a few folks is that with the lens being polycarbonate it is vulnerable to chipping and hazing. I added a layer of X-Pel protection film right after I bought the lights and today they look as good as they did back then. Second potential issue noted is that LEDs don't generate heat that could keep the lights clear during freezing snow or rain. I live in the NE. Jeep is my daily driver. I am using these for a few winters and have had zero issues. That said, the Hella H3's are my backup.

By the way, installing LED side markers made my odometer blink when I turned on the turn signals (yes, I do have the Novita flasher)

LED tails... Like the headlights, I started with a super cheap set of chinesium LED tails that the PO installed as sale-bait. They were dim. Reverse lights were useless. I had to trim the passenger side light to work with the Rugged Ridge Spartacus HD tailgate hinge. When I switched to the Bestop HighRock 4x4 tire carrier the trimmed taillight had to go and I went to Maxbilt Trail Tails. Turns out I regret that move because while they are really well made and bright enough when you brake, the running lights are pretty dim as are the corner running lights and the reverse lights are as anemic as the cheap lights they replaced.

Like @TheBoogieman I now have the BMB LED tails. Ordered them over the weekend and they arrived today. Won't get to install them until the LED plate light and relocation bracket are available.

FWIW, bought the same product and had the same odometer issue. I swapped the front facing markers (left to right, right to left) and the issue was resolved. Maybe the MFR got the LH and RH mixed up…lol

I modified the factory flasher module about 4 years ago-quick, easy, and free. Works great. In the video below, skip straight to the two minute mark.

I think this method works for older model TJs - for newer models, you want to get the Novita LM470 flasher.
