I was really disappointed that I didn't capture that last few seconds where you hit that dip, my camera skills are poor.

I was also disappointed

Haha all good man I could hear it just fine lol. It was hard packed with some big dips so I knew I couldn’t go very fast. I slowed up and still bottomed out.

That was my first time hitting dips at a decent speed since having the shocks revalved. Previously, I never turned in the high speed bc it was already quite stiff.

I sway more now with the high-speed reduced, but that might go away some once I turn the high-speed dial in. I could go in two more clicks on the low speed l as well, which would have been wise to do.

That was the first time I set the shifter to 2 to romp around and I did so bc I figured 3rd gear wouldn’t be necessary. Staying in second helped it go into boost, I recall seeing 5psi at some point which was neat. I should have checked on my RPMs when spinning the tires.

Would be worth torque to spec just to know it’s good. Found my aftermarket TB loose once but I had a clunk issue not a shake.

Tire balancing confirmed good? Maybe also grab the front tires at 12 & 6 o’clock to check the wheel bearings.

I tightened up the lower track bar bolt and adjusted the tire pressures since it has been a while and the temps have gotten cooler.

I would say it's better, overall less shaking, but the underlying harmonic vibration is still there.

Did the harmonic exist when the rear DS was removed? What about before when both shafts were installed?

I’d be tempted to drive with the front DS removed to see if it goes away.

The jeep was all sorts of vibrating and buzzing at speed so I'm not sure, but probably.

The vibration was so bad that one time around 75mph, I swear my brain and eye balls were bouncing into each other 😵‍💫

Ok i kinda understand better…are things mostly better now but u still have a harmonic?

Does it show up around 40 mph+ and get worse with more speed or only at a certain speed?

I’m sure you know that tire imbalance can cause vibration issues.

Maybe it’s a joint issue in the front DS that could be fixed. Are you geared lower now? How’s the pinion angle look?

I’d probably pull the front DS and if the harmonic goes away I’d look at your front pinion angle and driveshaft components.

And if the DS removal doesn’t change things at least you can move on. Best of luck man let us know how it goes.

Edit: wheel bearings are good?

I know that I have one lower control arm that's pretty beat up. I'll crawl around under it tomorrow and get my wife to move the steering wheel around for me. Did you get the video I sent you by your email? My tablet is not letting me post any videos right now.

I didn't get the video, did you use the gmail address?

Boy it was cold! I turned around at the Petro. Could only maintain 60mph. The motor is tired. I'll need to stay closer to home.

Check them cats

Much better now with the new rear DS and SSSYE

Yup, they were balanced 2000 miles ago, used a pile of weights, so I know that it's possibly suspect.

Geared to 3.73, pinion angle in the front changed slightly for the worse when I put on the taller front springs. Can't do anything about it right now.

Something to try if I feel up to tearing it apart again. Maybe when I put on the new trans oil pan whenever it shows up.

Seems fine, at least with the tire on the ground.
